In addition to being an in-demand session musician (saxophone, flute, clarinet, theory), Nick has had over 15 years of teaching experience ranging from beginner students to developing professional musicians of all ages. His students have successfully pursued further education at known institutions such as the University of Toronto, McGill University, Humber College, Berklee College of Music (Boston), and Manhattan School of Music (New York City). Nick strives for excellence in helping each student exceed their goals, always with their unique learning style in mind. Nick has also successfully coached students through Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) preparations and exams for saxophone, clarinet, flute, and theory as well as audition preparations (for High School and post-Secondary).

Nick maintains a busy performance and teaching schedule (out at his private teaching studio in the west-end of Toronto), and has been on part time faculty teaching saxophone lessons at Toronto's prestigious Humber College since 2013. Having been a clinician for various national music festivals as an independent artist and Yamaha Artist, Nick has also had extensive experience working with educators in a classroom environment working with a number of instruments (saxophone, flute, clarinet, percussion, bass guitar, and piano). While employed as a liaison between various school boards and Long & McQuade Musical Instruments, Nick gained a deep understanding of the challenges presented to music teachers, as well as the expectations that are faced by the next generation of musicians.
